Kelsey Therrien (centre) fires a shot in a 7-0 win over Moose Jaw Central

The Swift Current Comp. Ardens soccer team moved to 3-0 with a 7-0 win over the visiting Moose Jaw Central Cyclones on Thursday.

League all-time scoring leader Cassidy Andres led the Ardens with four goals and one assist. Rookie Kirstie Klevgaard scored for the second straight game with two second-half goals and Santana Gowan chipped in a single marker.

Grade nine Kaylynn Ziegler set up two of Andres’ goals and Kelsey Therrien and Jessica Driver each added single assists.

Cassandra Furey-Cameron had another quiet afternoon in goal as the Ardens remain atop the Moose Jaw High School Soccer League having outscored their opponents 24-1 this season.

The Ardens will host Moose Jaw AE Peacock on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Irwin Field as they attempt to remain unbeaten this season.
