Ardens midfielder Brittany Schafer had a goal and five assists in her final home game.
The Swift Current Comp. Ardens clinched top spot in the Moose Jaw High School Soccer League regular season in fine style with a 12-0 win over Moose Jaw AE Peacock on Tuesday.
It was the final home game for three grade 12’s and they certainly did not disappoint a large crowd.
Fourth-year Arden Kaity Letwiniuk scored four goals and added an assist as she moved into third all-time in league scoring.
Third-year Arden Brittany Schafer had the best offensive game of her career with one goal and five assists.
Fourth-year Arden Karli Wong picked up an assist on Letwiniuk’s first goal and was a steady performer at right fullback.
Grade 11 Cassidy Andres added two goals and three assists, while fullback Becky Neustaeter scored twice, and Emilie Erlandson chipped in a goal and an assist.
Kelsey Therrien and Kaylee Kyle also scored, while Leia Anderson added an assist.
With three other goaltenders sidelined with illness and injuries, Cassandra Furey-Cameron played all 90 minutes to earn the shutout.
Next up for the Ardens (7-0) will be their regular season finale on Thursday in Moose Jaw against the Vanier Spirits.
