ADHS girls soccer returns to pitch

ADVOCATE - Advocate District High School Coyotes Soccer is back on the pitch for the 2009 season and taking part in the Cumberland Soccer League for the first time in three years after playing a couple of exhibition games in 2008.

The team is eight players strong with Autumn Collins up front, Meggie Spicer, Maddie Currie, and Kerstyn MacLellan in the midfield.
Vanessa Nuttall, Ashley Grant, and Samara Flueck play at the back and Emma Goodwin is the Coyote keeper.
In Springhill, Advocate lost 9-4 in their first game. Meggie got four goals for the Coyotes.
In Parrsboro, the Coyotes won 3-2 behind an outstanding goaltending performance by Emma Goodwin and a great team defence.
Meggie scored the three goals. Coach Katie Spicer got her first career win at the site where she scored her first goal 12 years ago.
