Laking named AUS female athlete of the week

HALIFAX - Striker Sara Laking of the Mount Allison Mounties soccer team was named Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week Tuesday.
Laking, a third-year student from Ottawa, scored four goals in two games as Mount Allison broke a winless streak dating back to Oct. 12, 2005, a span of 42 games.
Laking netted a hat trick in a 5-1 victory over the New Brunswick Varsity Reds, the first three-goal effort from a Mount Allison woman since Eryn Creamer in 2004.
