SPRINGHILL - The Cumberland County Blues routed the Blacks Harbour Silvertips of New Brunswick 10-1 on Sunday night in exhibition junior B hockey action at Richard Calder Arena.
Seth Crowe and Ryan Smith netted two goals apiece for the winners, with singles to Jeff Burke, Jared Wilson, Cole Wood, Murray Bavis, Garrett McArthur and Kenzie Beaton.
Andrew Court got the start in goal, making eight saves. Tyler Ferdinand came in midway through the game and stopped 15 shots.
The Blues continue their preseason at home to the Brookfield Elks on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Their regular season starts Sept. 25 in Port Hawkesbury.
