WENTWORTH - While most people are venting their spleen at Mother Nature, Leslie Wilson couldn't be happier.
The Ski Wentworth manager is beaming in anticipation of the start of the Canada Winter Games and the abundance of snow at the ski hill in time for the alpine and freestyle events.
"I'm feeling very confident that everything that's under our control is ready. We're ready to roll," said Wilson. "We've had a nice cold stretch of weather that allowed us to make lots of snow and all the venues themselves - the aerials, the moguls, the half-pipe and the alpine tail - are all in great shape. We even have stockpiles of snow in place, just in case."
