Man killed when his car collides with a truck in southwestern N.S.

YARMOUTH, N.S. - A 43-year-old man is dead after his car collided with a transport truck in Yarmouth County.

The RCMP said the accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Hebron exit on Highway 101.

The jaws of life were needed to get the man out of his car and he was rushed to hospital in Yarmouth but died.

His name wasn't released.

The driver of the truck wasn't hurt.
