Vikings holding Christmas invitational tourney

AMHERST - The Amherst Regional High School Vikings will host seven other teams at their annual Christmas invitational basketball tournament.
Play begins Monday with Amherst facing Pugwash at 9:30 a.m., while Avon View meets Three Oaks at 11:30 a.m., Charlottetown Rural meets North Nova at 1:30 p.m., and Hants North and Rothesay, N.B., square off at 3:30 p.m.
Semifinal games go at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Play wraps up Tuesday.
