Underhill and Martini to reunite for Battle of the Blades finale

TORONTO - Skating legends Barb Underhill and Paul Martini are reuniting for a special performance on the finale of CBC's "Battle of the Blades."
Show producer John Brunton says the retired skating team, who claimed the world champion title in 1984, will skate together for the first time in 10 years at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens.
Brunton says the performance will be dedicated to Underhill's daughter Stephanie, who died as a baby when she fell into a backyard pool.
He adds that Underhill and Martini will skate to a song performed by Stephanie's twin sister, Samantha.
Also performing on Monday results episode will be Olympic gold medallists Jame Sale and David Pelletier.
Three teams are in the running for the title of best on ice - Sale and Craig Simpson, Shae-Lynn Bourne and Claude Lemieux, and Marie-France Dubreuil and Stephane Richer. They faceoff for a final performance episode on Sunday.
