AMHERST - Amherst Regional High School will play host to a pair of Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association basketball games tonight when the Mount Allison Mounties and NSAC Rams tip off.
The women's game is set for 6 p.m., with the men's game at 8 p.m.
The women's game will feature a bit of a sibling rivalry as Meredith Smith takes to the court for the Rams against sister Marlon Smith of Mount Allison. Meredith is in her first year at NSAC while Marlon is in her sophomore season at Mount A.
The game will also feature Springhill veteran Patti Gilroy and Amherst rookie Allie Gallagher playing with the Rams, while Al Hart and Doug Hart are again coaching Mount Allison.
On the men's side, ARHS grad Dwayne Ripley of River Hebert is playing for the Rams alongside Wallace's Jonathan Kennedy. Amherst's Andrew Stanley is a coach at Mount Allison.
