TORONTO - "Battle of the Blades" may be on ice but it's proving to be hot with skating fans.
The CBC says Sunday's performance episode drew 1.56 million viewers.
The Thanksgiving broadcast featured the music of Frank Sinatra and was guest judged by Don Cherry of "Hockey Night in Canada."
It also featured a tough skate for Isabelle Brasseur and former NHLer Glenn Anderson, who fell twice.
The pair was voted off on Monday's results episode.
The series pairs ex-hockey players with former figure skating champs for an elimination-style pairs competition.
Six teams remain, including the likes of Barbara Underhill, Jamie Sale, Tie Domi and Craig Simpson.
"Battle of the Blades" airs Sundays and Mondays on CBC-TV.
