TORONTO - Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley have reportedly split after three years of marriage, according to Us Weekly.
The magazine is citing an anonymous source in claiming that Lavigne "dumped (Whibley) and told him she was leaving him."
Divorce papers would be filed any day now, according to the source.
A representative for Lavigne's label, Sony, declined to comment when contacted by The Canadian Press, saying that it was the company's policy not to discuss an artist's personal life.
Whibley's representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Lavigne and Whibley, the frontman for pop-punk group Sum 41, married on July 15, 2006, and live in Los Angeles.
