AMHERST - Amherst's Ryan Mackintosh, fresh off a win in Connecticut, picked up his second victory in a row last Friday night, driving the No. 24 Scotia Hyundai bandolero to top spot at Scotia Speedworld.
Mackintosh outpaced D.J. Casey to win the race after starting from the fourth position. He made his way to the top spot after three laps and opened up a 10-car lead over the field until the yellow flag came out after a lapped car spun out on Lap 3.
The restart had Mackintosh on the inside of the front row and Sackville's Brad Eddy on the outside. Mackintosh cleared Eddy on the first corner and opened up a three to five-car lead through the finish line.
Mackintosh sits in 14th place in the INEX points in the United States and will be back in action this Friday at Scotia Speedworld.
