MacPhersons late goal lifts Fundy?United to win

AMHERST - Adam MacPherson converted on a cross from Lucas Haynes with five minutes to go to lift the Fundy Pizza Delight United to a 2-1 win over Komtec of Moncton in Codiac Senior Soccer League play here Sunday.

Andrew Ellis gave the host squad a 1-0 lead in the first half before Moncton tied it midway through the second half.

On Friday in Petitcodiac, Luke Penney scored two goals and Mark Jackson and Maura Carter - on a penalty shot - also scored as Fundy United defeated Petitcodiac Credit Union 4-1.

Fundy United, who being playoff action on the road Friday, led 2-1 at the half.
