Four men and youth charged following kidnap and robbery at N.S. bowling alley

HALIFAX - Police have charged four men and one male youth in connection with a kidnapping and robbery at a Nova Scotia bowling alley in May.
RCMP say several charges have been laid including conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to kidnap, robbery with a firearm and kidnapping using a firearm.
Rodan Downey, 31, Coulton Downey, 21, Narico Downey, 20, and Dennis Downey, 18, will appear in a Dartmouth, N.S., court today, while a 17-year-old male will appear in provincial youth court.
Beazley Bowling Lanes in Westphal had already closed at midnight on May 12 when the trouble began.
Two women were intercepted by a group of four men in bandannas who forced them at gunpoint to drive back to the bowling alley.
The were forced to open the door, disarm the alarm system and open the safe.
