ST. JOHNS, N.L. The Juno Awards ceremony is returning to the Rock.

Canadas premier music awards gala will be held in St. Johns, N.L., in April 2010, eight years after the capital city first hosted it.

The Juno Awards weekend in 2002 provided us with some very memorable moments, Melanie Berry, president of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, told a news conference Thursday.

Shaggy and Amanda Marshall crashing a high school prom and giving an impromptu performance now you just cant plan that.

The awards ceremony will be held April 18 next year.

This years Junos will be held March 29 in Vancouver.
