CAMPOBELLO ISLAND, N.B. - A search has been launched for an American who went missing while harvesting periwinkles in an area between New Brunswick's Campobello Island and Lubec, Maine.
The rescue co-ordinator centre in Halifax says it's assisting its counterpart in Boston in the search.
The unidentified man, from Lubec, went missing Tuesday evening after being on the mud flats.
A Cormorant helicopter from Greenwood, N.S., will help in the search.
