Outreachpositivcharg captured the $7,500 Joe and Jennie Chippin Memorial at Fredericton Raceway on Saturday night by defeating Country Estate and St Pete Star in a 1:55.2 mile.
The win was the third major Maritime invitational victory of the season by the four-year-old Blissfull Hall gelding, who was driven to a one-and-a-half length victory by trainer-driver Terry Gallant.
Country Estate, owned by Wentworth native Wes Patriquin, cut out the fractions before being overtaken in the lane while St Pete Star, owned by Paul Gray of Pugwash, was third for Dany Romo ahead of Marymatt Hanover and Pownal Bay Matt.
Earlier, For The Luv Abunny won her $8,000 division of the Bill Quigg Memorial for three-year-old pacing fillies with a 1:58.2 victory for Danny Romo.
The Western Paraside filly is trained by Dale Pinkney of Truro for owner Jody Campbell of Sydney Mines.
