AMHERST - The Amherst Skating Club recently held its Awards Banquet where many skaters accomplishments were rewarded.



AMHERST - The Amherst Skating Club recently held its Awards Banquet where many skaters accomplishments were rewarded.

Awards presented to CanSkaters were:

BMO CanSkater of the year was Olivia Doucette and the BMO CanSkate Champions of the Year went to Marshall White and Keisha Embree.

The Most Badges Passed Award went to Molly Davis, while Colson Brown was named the Fundraiser of the year.

The CanSkate program assistant of the year went to Jessica White and the CanPower program assistant of the year went to Jamie Steele.

Junior Division awards went to:

Emma Bickerton was named the Shining Star, Emma Gould was named the Twinkling Star, Hannah Doucette is the Rocketeer and Allanah Conrad is the Fundraiser of the Year.

Most badges passed went to Jaycee Hawkes, Shaeleen Hawkes and Hayley Burke.

Jadyn Soehner won the award for Most Tests Passed.

In the Senior Division Jennifer Porter is the Shining Star, Allannah Cronrad is the Twinkling Star and Haley Speight is the Fundraiser of the Year. Speight also won the award for Most Tests Passed.

In the Adult Division it was Joann Patriquin taking a clean sweep of the two award - Shining Star and Fundraiser of the Year.

Club Division awards went to:

Haley Speight is the Skater of the Year and Jadyn Soehner is the Competitor of the Year.

The Margot Anderson Award went to Shawna Doucette.
