Tatamagouche -A rash of vandalism in Tatamagouche has police stepping up patrols in the village.
During the past week a number of flower pots on Main Street have been toppled and at least two cars have been damaged along with other mischievous acts.
"It's something that is very rare in Tatamagouche and police will be taking steps to make sure it doesn't continue," said Cpl. Jim Baird of the Colchester Country RCMP.
He is asking for public assistance to catch the person or people responsible for the crimes by reporting any suspicious activity to police.
Anyone with information can call the Tatamagouche detachment at 657-2040.
