Carter wins NSSAF jr. skiing championship

WENTWORTH - Mitchell Carter of Oxford struck gold at the Nova Scotia Schools Athletic Federation skiing championships at Ski Wentworth earlier this week.
The Oxford Regional High School student won the junior division with a combined score of 79.8 while teammate Landon Stewart was second and Dan Wood, also of Oxford, was third.
Avonview won the intermediate team championship with West Hants placing second while Halifax West won the senior crown with Citadel High placing second and King's-Edgehill finishing third.
