Town offering free holiday skating sessions

AMHERST - Amherst is offering a number of public skating sessions at the Amherst Stadium over the holiday period including a series of free skates.
Free skates, sponsored by the town, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 23, from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 30, from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m.
There will also be adult and senior skating from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., parents and tots skating from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and general skating from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 27 and 28.
