Jennifer Porter had a big year of competition for the Amherst Skating Club.
Her accomplishments did not go unnoticed as she was chosen the winner of the Andrea Thompson Memorial Award that goes annually to the club member deemed as having the most outstanding season.
She also picked up the competitor of the year award for her efforts.
The Margo Anderson Memorial award presented to an outstanding adult contributor in the club goes to a long-time member and contributor in Sarah MacDonald. The former high-level competitor is now giving back as a coach and mentor.
