Tisdale makes 16 saves in 4-0 win over visiting Regina Wild

2013/14 Swift Current Hurricanes

The Swift Current K-Motel Hurricanes got goals from four different skaters to keep their season alive.

Jordan Wittman and Josh Dickie each had a goal and an assist and Logan Tisdale made 16 saves as the Hurricanes forced a third and deciding game in their opening round best-of-three series against the visiting Regina Wild.

Austin Larochelle and Darby Crozier also scored as the Hurricanes won 4-0 while outshooting the visitors 35-16. Parker Wall, Thomas Hammerton, and Trenton Zakaluzny added assists.

Game three will be played Sunday at 5:15 p.m. at Fairview West Arena. Regina had opened the series with a 3-2 win in Regina Wednesday.
