OXFORD The Oxford Tim Hortons Colts regular season wraps up this weekend with two home games.

They kick the weekend off with a preview of their first-round playoff series against the Avon River Rats on Friday, and then play the Barrington Ice Dogs on Sunday.

The Colts go into the weekend trailing the Rats in the standings 36 points to 21 points but their last two meetings have been very close.

Unfortunately, the Phantoms’ first round playoff opponent in their best-of-five series will be the Eastern Shore Mariners, who are the NSJCHL defending champions.
