AMHERST - With the end of the Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League playoffs just around the corner, fans of the CIBC Wood Gundy Fundy Phantoms will get to see a preview of their first round playoff matchup against the Eastern Shore Mariners Friday night at Amherst Stadium.
The matchup will also be the Phantoms' last home game of the regular season before the playoffs begin in mid-February.
The Phantoms enter Friday night's game with four wins all season long and will be playing a team that has lost only four games during the 2010-2011 season, but the Phantoms have steadily improved in their matchups against the Mariners.
The Oxford Tim Hortons Colts tavel to Barrington on Saturday to play the Ice Dogs, a team they could meet in the second round of the playoffs if they get past the Avon River Rats in the first round.
