SPRINGHILL - Cumberland County Ross Refrigeration Cool Blues coach Dave Hyatt said his players can't wait to hit the ice tonight against the St. Margarets Bay Ducks at the Richard Calder Arena in Springhill.
"After you play Friday and don't play again until the next Friday, you get a team that's more than ready to play hockey," Hyatt said about his team, which hasn't played since its 7-2 win over Sackville at its home opener.
Hyatt said the Bay Ducks are a younger team than a year ago.
"But they have a great organization down there and I suspect they will be better than last year."
The Blues travel to play the Cape Breton Canadiens the next night.
"They are playing out of a newer rink this year in New Waterford and I expect they will be improved upon from where they were last year," Hyatt added.
Starting in goal tonight for the Cool Blues will be Andrew Court. Cliff Mugford will serve a one-game suspension for instigating tonight.
The puck drops for both games at 7:30 p.m.
