Lighting a fire under the Stanley Cup

Who will win this year's Stanley Cup?
One problem has been eliminated, that would be the Toronto Maple Leafs, but another problem still exists - the Montreal Canadiens.
This problem must be dealt with in the most appropriate manner.
Being a Calgary Flames fan there are few teams, with the possible exception Toronto and Tampa Bay, I like less than the Canadiens.
There is something I dream of though - A rubber match between the Flames and the Canadiens in the Stanley Cup final.
They played against each other in two previous finals - and a third final is where the Flames could deal the final, and fatal, blow to the Canadiens.
The Canadiens won their first match-up in 1986.
Then, in what was the greatest Stanley Cup final in NHL history, the Flames won in 1989.
Imagine a tiebreaker, two Canadian teams going toe to toe in a winner takes all.
It is very rare for two Canadian teams to meet in a Stanley Cup final.
Besides 1986 and 1989, the last time two Canadian teams met in the final was in 1967, when the Maple Leafs defeated the Canadians 4 games to 2.
Many people say the Canadiens will make it to the final this year but few give the Flames a chance against the red-hot Sharks in the first Round.
I have three words for the doubters. Iginla, Kiprusoff and Conroy.
Other words I will throw out are Phaneuf, Tanguay, Nolan, Langkow and Joseph.
Most of the players from the 2004 run against the Lightning are off the roster but there is a core at the heart of the Flames that knows what it's like to challenge for the Stanley Cup.
All the Flames need to do is get past San Jose in the first round and Flames Fever will ignite across Calgary, the Red Mile will explode into life and the Stanley Cup will be hoisted and paraded by the Flames in celebration while fans cheer with wild abandon.
Some may say I'm a dreamer but as John Lennon once said in the song Imagine, "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, some day you will all be Flames Fans and the world can live as one."
Let Your Flames Flag fly high and proud Flames Nation.
