Two local golfers remain in action at the Saskatchewan Mid-Amateur Championships in Kenosee heading into day four on Friday.
Maple Creek’s Kristen Arndt enters the fourth and final round in sixth spot in the women’s field at 40-over-par. She has shot rounds of 87, 84, and 85, for a three-round total of 256.
Saskatoon’s Ashley Olynick leads the way at 20-over-par after a tournament low 75 on day three.
On the men’s side, Tim Kehler is tied for ninth at 17-over-par. Kehler, the former assistant coach of the Swift Current Broncos, has been a model of consistency with scores of 78, 77, and 78 through the first three days.
Saskatoon’s Torrie Coghlin continues to lead the way at even par after a tournament low 70 on day three.
Swift Current’s Terry Pavely missed the cut with an 86 on day three to finish in 249 strokes at 33-over-par.
