Swift Current Comprehensive High School golfers completed a sweep of the top spots at their fifth annual invitational golf tournament on Tuesday at the Chinook Golf Course.
In Grade 11/12 boys division play, SCCHS golfer Cody Schapansky topped the field, while teammates Matty Hagman and Tyler Gellner tied for second place. Leader Composite golfer Cody Marshall earned fourth place, while fifth went to Swift Current's Carter Grant.
Jayden Roosen placed first in the Grade 9/10 boys category, ahead of Swift Current teammate Nick Bitz. Leader's Daniel Bueckert and Swift Current's Marshall Siemens tied for third. Fifth place was earned by Ian Hayes of Swift Current.
All five top finishers in the girls division were from Swift Current, with Rachel Cronan leading the field. Lacey Duncan placed second, Ashley Sauder took third, Leah Teulon finished fourth, and fifth place went to Jackie Seidler.
The boys division team title went to the Swift Current grouping of Carter Grant, Matty Hagman, Cody Schapansky, Jessy-Lee Lacher and Keegan Braaten. Leader's foursome of Chris Stimson, Niko Schmidt, Daniel Bueckert, and Cody Marshall placed second. Capturing third place was the Moose Jaw Vanier trio of Brett Banda, Connor Gould, and Christian Pearce.
Swift Current completed a top three sweep in the girls division team category. The team of Brooklyn Hagman, Ashley Sauder and Lacey Duncan won first. Second place wento to Leah Teulon, Rachel Cronan and Jackie Seidler, while third place was earned by Darby Lemay, Alex Leschures and Lauren Biem.
