The back nine holes at the golf course have been closed since Monday, and the last day to golf on the front nine holes will be October 31. Starting Nov. 1, all holes will be closed, and the course will remain closed until the spring.
Over the coming months ground crews will be busy preparing the course for next season by planting more trees, developing new tee boxes and preparing the greens for the winter.
Golfers played over 28,000 rounds of golf at the Chinook Golf course this past golf season.
