Blood donor clinic coming

City residents can mark Oct. 20-21 on their calendars as the date for the next blood donor clinic in Swift Current.

The two-day clinic will be hosted at Bridgeway Community Church. On Oct. 20 they are booking appointments for 1 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and again from 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Oct. 21 clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Mina Krywulak of Information Services Corporations presents a $3000 donation to Bonnie Girouard, president of the Southwest Cultural Development Group which operates the Lyric Theatre. This donation is made as part of ISC's Community Investments Plan.

Randy Hildebrandt, Partner at Meyers Norris Penny and Brad Gross, Wealth Advisory Group, BMO Nesbitt Burns recently presented a cheque of $3,500 to Susie Eidem, Executive Director at the Southwest Homes. The money comes from the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Golf tournament back in July. BMO was a Gold Sponsor for the event.
