MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - The shakeup of the Toronto Argonauts continues.

The Argos announced Sunday that quarterbacks Kerry Joseph and Cody Pickett have been released and are now free agents.
In a statement, new coach Jim Barker said the team decided it "needed to go in a different direction at the quarterback position."
"We understand that it seems bold to release these quarterbacks before announcing the additions of new quarterbacks to the roster but we wanted to make this move immediately so these players could try to catch on with other teams," he said.
"We have a plan in place and will be making those announcements over the course of the next month."
The team also announced the release of linebacker Zeke Moreno.
The moves come just days after the Argos announced the acquisition of slotback Jeremaine Copeland from the Calgary Stampeders in a trade for receiver P.K. Sam.
On the same day, the team lost special-teams ace Dominique Dorsey and defensive backs Will Poole and Jason Shivers to free agency, and parted ways with assistant GM Greg Mohns and Canadian scouting co-ordinator Miles Gorrell.
The team also recently dealt veteran receiver Andre Talbot to Edmonton, released cornerback Jordan Younger, and signed free-agent lineman Cedric Gagne-Marcoux.
