The defensive tandem of Maurice Lloyd and Kitwana Jones, two members of the Riders 2007 Grey Cup championship team, are tentatively scheduled to be at Cypress Motors between noon and 2 p.m.
Lloyd is a third year middle linebacker who is currently ranked ninth in the league with 55 tackles. The 2007 West Division All-Star is second on the team with three quarterback sacks.
Jones is a fourth year Rider who has played both defensive end and linebacker during his tenture with the team. He is ranked 25th in the league with 44 tackles and he leads the Riders with four quarterback sacks.
The Meet-A-Rider event at Cypress Motors will also feature a charity BBQ from noon until 2 p.m., a series of door prizes and giveaways, along with a variety of Rider items. The event will also feature Rider cheerleaders and possibly mascots to add to the atmosphere.
The afternoon event is a perfect opportunity to have a Grey Cup champion autograph some Rider souvenirs.
