SPRINGHILL - Two losses last week put a bit of a damper on the Cool Blues winning ways, but this weekend they're looking to ratchet their game up to full throttle.

Tonight they will crank it up against the Strait Pirates, then on Sunday they travel to Antigonish where they will be pitted against the Bulldogs.

"Our last two losses is not something we want to dwell on. Things are still looking good for our team," said Cool Blue Coach Ron Reynolds. "We have to build on all the positive things we've done this year, we can't look at a couple of negatives."

The team had a good skate during practice on Wednesday night and Reynolds said, "The boys are upbeat."

"You sometimes go through this stuff now and again," said Reynolds. "And sometimes you have to take something good out of the bad things that happen."

If things don't go good for the Blues this weekend, the team might have to do some soul searching.

"If we don't come out strong this weekend we might have to take a look at things," said Reynolds. "But I'm confident the boys will rebound."

One big plus for the Blues is the return of Hughie McCuish.

Players not in the lineup for tonight's game because of single game suspensions are Colin Feehan and Matt Carroll. They'll both be ready to roll against Antigonish.
