The Swift Current Indians used two huge innings to hammer the host Edmonton Prospects 14-4 Thursday.
The Indians knocked out 18 hits and scored five runs in the sixth inning and added six more in the eighth to improve to 8-3 in the Western Major Baseball League.
Michael Noteware picked up the win with five innings of three-hit ball, allowing one earned run while striking out five.
Dawson Porter helped lead the offense with two doubles and a single, two runs scored, and four runs batted in. Shortstop Matt Henriksen finished four-for-five with two runs and an RBI.
The Indians will face the Prospects again Friday in Edmonton.
