AMHERST – Play ball!

The Carter’s Sports Cresting Bantam Baseball Tournament launched this evening with an Amherst Red Sox versus Nova Scotia Girls game at the Lion Cecil Small Field on Cornwall Avenue. The game began at 6 p.m.

Also playing in the tournament, which will also use the Robb Centennial Complex, are the Cole Harbour Cardinals, the Fredericton Royals and the Clark’s Harbour Foggies.

At 8 p.m. tonight, it will be Cole versus Clark’s at Robbs. The Sox play at 10, 12 and 6 tomorrow (at Cornwall), and the championship game is Sunday at 3 p.m.
