Game 3 tonight in Springhill

SPRINGHILL - The Cumberland?County Cool Blues entered playoff territory Friday night with a convincing 6-1 win over the Pictou County Scotians.
They went deeper Sunday with an 8-5 win and look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead tonight in the best-of-seven Sid Rowe Division semifinal at the Richard Calder Arena.
"Pictou will be coming back here and playing like it's Game 7," Cool Blue coach Ron Reynolds said. "Pictou won't want to fall behind three games to none because, if they do, that's a hard road to come back from."
Reynolds is looking for a disciplined Cool Blues team to make the road to redemption as difficult as possible for the Scotians.
"We don't want to take penalties in the offensive zone and we don't want to take retaliation penalties," Reynolds said. "We've done that a few times in these playoffs, but we'll get better as the series goes one."
Cody Roach had two goals and two assists in the second game while Mark Rozak also had two goals as the Blues built up an early first period lead, but struggled defensively in the second period.
What his team will be is aggressive.
"We want to play the body hard, that's for sure. That's always part of the game plan," Reynolds said. "Take the body to them as hard as we can and go from there."
The Blues look to improve as they go deeper into the playoffs.
"We want to play sound defensively and act on our opportunities," Reynolds added. "If we do all the little things right and keep plugging away, we should be successful."
Game time is tonight at 8 p.m. at the Richard Calder Arena.
With a win tonight, the Blues can wrap up the series Wednesday in Trenton.
Game 5, if necessary, is back in Springhill on?Friday.
