For the past 27-years, seniors and their extended families gather to walk for the Terry Fox Foundation and the goal of finding a cure for cancer.
What started as a walk in Nappan has now moved into Amherst.
The Grandmother's Walk as it has been labelled, used to start at Nash's Cormer in Nappan and navigate throughout the community to raise funds for cancer research
In recent years, the activity has moved into Amherst where walkers, bikers and runners gather to make their way around a course in the Amherst Industrial Park, two circuits in fact.
