Halifax Rainmen add four rookies to roster in 2014 NBL Canada Draft

HALIFAX - The Halifax Rainmen ended up with four new players after the 2014 NBL Canada Draft on Sunday.

Mike Myers Keitt, 25, of Waterbury, Conn., was Halifax’s top pick, and the 8th overall selection. The six-foot-seven, 180-pound forward played NCAA for the Monmouth College Hawks.

The Rainmen also selected Courtney Beach in the second and Jason Hannibal in the third rounds, and then acquired fourth overall pick Brendan Cooper from the Island Storm by trading returning NBL guard Olu Famutimi of Toronto.
