Graden Chitty pitched a no-hitter, walked 10 runners, and struck out 17 batters in the Lions win over the Cubs.

Jackson Colborne pitched the 3-2 win for the Mixers, striking out 14 batters, and giving up three hits and five walks.

AMHERST – Both Amherst Little League playoff series were tied 1-1 Wednesday night.

The Casey Concrete Mixers tied their best-of-three consolation series 1-1 after beating the Y’s Guys 3-2, and the Lions tied their best-of-five championship series up 1-1 after beating the Cumberland Paving Cubs 7-3.

Graden Chitty pitched a no-hitter, walked 10 runners, and struck out 17 batters in the Lions win over the Cubs.

Chitty also hit a triple and a single for the Lions, and Cole Stevens and Braden Nichol hit one single each.

Ethan Casey had 10 strikeouts on the mound for the Cubs, and gave up 11 hits and three walks.

Jackson Colborne pitched the 3-2 win for the Mixers, striking out 14 batters, and giving up three hits and five walks.

Ethan Herrett hit a double for the Mixers, Isaac VanSnick hit two singles, and Connor Robichaud had one marker for the Mixers.

Jackson Comeau was on the mound for the Y’s Guys. He struck out 14 batters, and gave up four hits and seven walks.

Jeremiah Martin hit two singles, and Braydon Stevens hit one single.

Game 3 goes Thursday night at 6 p.m.
