Blowouts at Monday night little league

AMHERST – The Lions downed the Casey Concrete Mixers 19-4, and the Y’s Guys beat the Cumberland Paving Cubs 11-3 during Monday night little league action.

Matthew Hunter gave up three hits to pitch the Lions to a 19-4 win over the Mixers.

Graden Chitty led the Lions with a home run, a double and a single. Jordan MacKenzie hit a double and three singles, while Hunter and Madden Miller hit two singles. Brayden Nichol and Declan LeBlanc added one single each.

The Mixers went through four pitchers, and they gave up a total of 13 hits. The pitchers were Reese Blakeney, Lucas Vance Cam Vance and Isaac VanSnick.

Jackson Colborne, Reese Blakeney and Cam Vance hit one single each.

– Y’s Guys vs. Cubs (Foster Field)

Tyler Baker started on the mound for the Y’s Guys, pitching two/thirds innings, and Jackson Comeau played the rest of the game. They combined to strike out nine batters, while giving up two hits and six walks.

Comeau and Connor Austin hit a double and a single, while Colson Brown hit two singles. Cameron Hardie, Zack Boudreau and Baker added one single each. Baker knocked in two RBI’s, and Austin knocked in one runner.

Cal Hoeg pitched 2 and two/thirds innings for the Cubs, and then Ethan Casey pitched the rest of the game.

Hoeg hit a Single and an RBI for the Cubs, and Brandon Hicks hit a single.
