The Warriors have a talk at the end of the game against ARHS.

AMHERST - It was a day of dominance for the Parrsboro Regional High School Warriors boy's slopitch team.

The perennial powerhouse visited Amherst Wednesday night for early season exhibition action, winning their games against the Amherst Regional High School Vikings, The Advocate District High School Coyotes and the Tatamagouche's North Colchester High School Mustangs.

"The team played well. We carry 13 players and all 13 players played well," said Matt Smith, Warriors coach. "We're comparable to what we had the last couple of years."

Parrsboro are the defending provincial boys slopitch champions.

On Wednesday they beat ARHS 18-8, ADHS 22-1, and NCHS 11-5.

"Parrsboro hit the ball really well and they have a really strong team, and Matt's a great coach," said Charlie Chambers, ARHS coach. "Hopefully we'll be better next time out. We need to get out playing some more games so we can get more at bats."

Coyotes coach Tracy Fletcher says she is very proud of her team's performance.

"My team has improved leaps and bounds since they started practicing three weeks ago," said Fletcher. "I think they're fabulous. I love my boys."
