MacKenzie named most improved Truro Major Bantam Bearcat

TRURO – Amherst’s Reuben MacKenzie was honoured when the Truro Major Bantam Bearcats handed out their awards last week.

MacKenzie, who had three goals and five assists for eight points in 33 games, was named the most improved player with the Bearcats this season.

He also had three assists in two playoff games.

MacKenzie was joined on the Bearcats this season by Amherst defenceman Kansas Hart and Springhill forward Chandler MacKinnon.

The Bearcats spring camp runs April 15, 16 and 22 at the Rath-Eastlink Community Centre in Truro.

It’s open to players born in 2000 and 2001 interested in playing major bantam in 2014-15.
