Gold medalists Kaillie Humphries (L) and Heather Moyse of Canada team 1 celebrate during the medal ceremony for the Women's Bobsleigh on day 13 of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics at at Medals Plaza on February 20, 2014 in Sochi, Russia.
Humphries piloted Canada to gold at the Sochi Games in two-man bobsled, but announced on Tuesday that her next competition will be in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The 28-year-old Calgary native tweeted that she would be on the card for The Ultimate Fighter: Nations Finale on April 13 in Quebec City.
“Looking forward to entering the octagon on April 13th in Quebec City!” said Humphries from her verified Twitter account. “Venez nous voir!”
Humphries added a picture with her fight statistics, including her height, weight, and 10-1 professional MMA record.
She has never fought in the UFC and her opponent for the card has yet to be named.
Humphries, along with teammate Heather Moyse, were Canada’s flagbearers at the Winter Olympics closing ceremony on Feb. 23.
The card will serve as the finale of the UFC reality TV show that has put a team of Canadian fighters against a group of mixed martial artists from Australia.
