TORONTO - Drew Bezanson continued his winning ways in 2014 on the weekend with a Toronto BMX Jam title.

The 24-year-old Onlsow Mountain native scored 93 points in the final to top Whitby, Ont., resident Mike Varga (89) and Nick Bruce of Hubbard, OH., (85).

It was Bezanson's third freestyle BMX competition win in as many weeks after posting victories at Simple Session 14 in Tallinn, Estonia, and the Baltic Games in Gdansk, Poland.

The Toronto title was Bezanson's third after winning the event in 2010 and 2012.

Bezanson, a Red Bull team rider and 2010 NORA Cup winner as the world's top ramp rider, thrilled the crowd in the final by using a ramp to propel himself onto a landing 20-feet above, then jumping off and back down the ramp on his bike.
