Colts season comes to an end in Game 5

AMHERST – The Amherst Colts season came to an end Wednesday night at Amherst Stadium after being shut out 4-0 by the Fundy Rhino.

The Colts lost the best-of-seven Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League semi-final series four games to one. The Colts had home-ice advantage in the series.

Fundy outscored the Colts 34-14 in the series. The Colts won Game 2 by a score of 7-6, but lost the other games by scores of 7-4, 8-1, 9-2, and 4-0.

The Rhino will now play the Spryfield Silver and Black Attack in the NSJCHL championship series.
