Colson continues to lead AAHL standings

AMHERST – Amherst Adult Hockey League action continued Sunday with Colson Overhead Doors tying J&K Electric 6-6, and on Thursday it was Bluewave Energy beating the Elmtree Pub & Grill 6-2.

Brendon Grimes led J&K with five points in their 6-6 tie with the Doors. Grimes had two goals and three assists, and Brad Linkletter added two goals.

Mark Black scored one goal and one assist, Mike Black had one goal, and Aaron Dobson and Shane O’Byrne scored two assists each for J&K.

Dan Anger and Dave McLeod had one assist each.

Corey Robichaud led the Doors with two goals, while Jarrod Fraser added one goal and one assist.

Mark Bennet, Matt Colson and Ryan Reynolds had one goal each for Colson.

Brad Blenkhorn and Preston Burns added two assists each, and Bill Jobes had one assist.

J&K goaltender Scott Clarke faced 32 shots, and Colson goalie Steve Brown faced 30 shots.

Bluewave Energy vs. Elmtree Pub & Grill

On Thursday, it was Bluewave beating the Elmtree 6-2.

Matt Cormier led Bluewave with four goals. Victor Wright added one goal and two assists, and Tony Wood had one goal.

Tim Ackles had three assists for Bluewave, Ian McCarthy added two assists, and Mark McLeod had hone assist.

Mike Archibald had a goal and an assist for the Pub, Evan Roberts scored one goal, and Scott Russell had one assist.

Alex Legere faced 23 shots in goal for the Elmtree, and Gilles Hache got the win in goal for Bluewave, facing 21 shots.

Colson continues to stand atop the league standings with 25 points, Bluewave is second with 23, J&K is third with 21, and the Elmtree is fourth with 11 points.

Matt Cormier lead the scoreboard with 57 points, followed by Justin Matthews with 48 points.
