MONTAGUE, P.E.I. – Nolan Kelba had a pair of assists and Dylan Deegan, Braydon McNeil and Jackson Colborne each scored once as the Cumberland County Eastlink Ramblers lost 4-3 in a shootout to the Sackville Flyers in the Peewee AA final at the 24th Annual Norsemen Memorial Minor Hockey Tournament on Sunday.

Mason Bird, Elliott McNutt and Jackson Comeau each added assists in the game as the Ramblers and Flyers battled through three periods and a 10-minute sudden death overtime en route to the shootout.

Colborne was named the Ramblers’ top forward of the game, goalie Zach Boudreau was top defensive player and Aaron Sjanic won the most sportsmanlike award.

In their first game Friday, the Ramblers defeated the Kensington Icecats 4-0 with Boudreau earning the shutout and Dylan Deegan and McNeil each adding a goal and two assists.

Zach Chatfield and Josh Black also scored once.

Deegan was named the top forward, Sjanic the best defensive player and McNeil the most sportsmanlike.

The Ramblers lost 5-2 to Sackville in their second game with McNeil and Chatfield each scoring once and Deegan adding an assist.

Bird was the top forward, Cole Lefler the top defensive player and Colborne most sportsmanlike.

Boudreau earned another shutout and Chatfield and McNeil each scored one goal in a 2-0 win over Montague.

McNutt and Deegan added assists.

McNeil was named top forward, Andrew Rideout top defenceman and Comeau most sportsmanlike.

Greg Ripley earned the shutout in the semifinal as the Ramblers defeated Montague 2-0 with Deegan and Colborne scoring and Comeau, Lefler, Deegan and Sjanic adding assists.

Deegan was selected as the top forward, Ripley the top defensive player and Kelba the most sportsmanlike player.
