Last Sunday 15 race-goers played the winning numbers in the Pick 5 contest for a payout of $205 each.

The seven-year old daughter of Western Success, Chris N Tell Arrow, bid farewell to her racing career on Nov. 17 by connections Arleen, Chantel and Christina Gillis of Bible Hill.

Having a career that started in 2008, the pacing mare left the track on a winning note, notching lifetime win No. 21 and pushing her earnings in excess of $32,000 in the fifth contest on last Sunday's card.

She was in line to teamster, Robert Laffin.

The Gillis family have experienced many special moments with the mare and, being the only daughter out of their brood mare Fair Arrow, has secured a much deserved forever home to be retired as a brood mare like her mother.

Co-owner, Christina Gillis, noted the summer of 2012, when Chris N Tel Arrow posted three consecutive wins while campaigning at Old Home Week at Red Shores Charlottetown as a career highlight.
